Hey Victor,

You would not need to upgrade the file, as you are running it in the same version of Quicken. You only need to upgrade the data-file if you are opening it in a newer version of Quicken/Accounts Personal. Note: If you do upgrade the file to a newer version, you would not be able to open it in a older version, as data-files are not backwards compatible.

Have you been able to install v7 successfully onto your machine?
