Hi Guys,

Below you will find a listing of file types, the extension and the description. This will be of help when you notice a new file extension to work out what the file is. This will also help you determine if there are any files present that shouldn't be there.

Reckon Accounts form template      -        .DES
Reckon Accounts provides a variety of templates that you can use for your forms.

Intuit Interchange Format file           -         .IIF
You can import and export lists and/or transactions using text files with an .IIF extension.

Reckon Accounts Network Data File       -        .ND
A configuration file that allows access to the Reckon Accounts company file. Do not delete this configuration file.

Accountant's Copy working file            -        .QBA
When you export your Reckon Accounts data for your accountant to review, the accountant restores the export file on his or her computer as a file with a .QBA extension.

Transaction log file (for Accountants Copy)         -        .QBB
When you back up an Accountant's Copy, Reckon Accounts starts a log of transactions that you've entered since the last time you backed up. The file is created during backup provided you have set a verification level. In case of accidental loss of data, Technical Support can use your most recent backup in conjunction with the transaction log file to recover your data.
