I have Personal 2013 on a Windows 7 PC. I have recently purchased an upgrade disc to Personal 2015. I want to instal on my new Windows 8.1 PC. Can I use the upgrade disc to instal on my new PC or must I upgrade first on the old one and then somehow transfer to the new PC?

Hey Rob, if you are installing an upgrade you generally need to have History of previous versions on your PC. If you have any troubles try installing 2013 on new PC, uninstall and then install 2015. If you have any issues with registration call our customer service team on 1800 RECKON to help with manually registration/activation. Cheers, Mirko.

Mirko, I tried installing from the 2015 upgrade to the new W8.1 machine but autorun did not start and after some drive activity all went quiet. The 2013 was itself an upgrade disc and I cannot find it or the original software which was 2007 I think. I have my ID and PIN of course. Any other suggestions please? Rob0

Thanks for the further info Rob. There's an existing thread with customer that had issues with 2013 version with a few suggestions which might be worth a try.
I'd try things in the following order;- Try to run install as System Admin.
- Try Install in Selective Start up.
- Copy contents from disk to machine and try install from there.
If you have trouble with your license key, give our customer service team a call to look into the manual reg with the ID+PIN combo you said you have.
Let me know how you go!

Mirko,
1. I am running as Administrator
2. The link to installing in Selective Start Up is 7 months old and does not refer to Windows 8.1
3. The HAB\Disk 1 folder on the CD contains among others, a file "Reckon Accounts 2015" described as "Windows Installer Package" and another "Set Up" described as "Application". Which of these should I try to run? Rob

Hey Rob, should be Application or Set Up. Let me know how that goes.

Mirko,
Yes installed from the disk by selecting Set Up from the file directory. Thanks for the help.
