After Upgrade to Windows 8.1, ReckonAccounts Plus 2013 hangs when "Reconcile Now" clicked

Since upgrading to windows 8.1 (64-bit) I have had trouble with my reconciliations in ReckonAccounts Plus 2013. I perform the rec and click the Reconcile Now button and I just get the turning ring while the program thinks, but nothing happens. I have to exit QBs entirely and then open the program again. Once reopened, the reconciliation has occurred, and I have to print previous reconciliation report. I had this issue when I upgraded to ReckonAccounts Plus 2013 from QuickBooks 2012/13 while I was running Windows 7 (64-bit). That issue was resolved with Advantage Customer Support while I had a valid support ID.

Have you looked at the support notes sounds like an issue with the odd generator. Is 2013 supposed to run on Windows 8?
