Installation code for Reckon 2013 not recognised by server

I have upgraded my PC OS to Windows 8, have reloaded the Reckon 2013 pkg. Entered the Installation Code from the letter I received when I purchased the software, but system is telling me "Reckon was unable to finish the installation process using the Internet".. I have an internet connection... Any ideas???
