stock consolidation Dexus
Richard Milton
Dexus (DXS) notified me of a Stock Consolidation on the basis of 'one for six'
How should I edit my share holding correctly?

Hi Richard
This can be done via the "Stock Split" function as follows:
You can just enter 1 and 6, and the total shares held is divided by 6.
If the total number of shares you hold is exactly divisible by 6, then this works out exactly.
If the shares held are not divisible by 6, then you will need to use the "Add - Shares Added" function to add the fractional value at zero cost.
Eg 595 shares held gives 595/6=99.166667 shares. Actual allocation = 100 shraes, so add 0.833333 shares at zero cost.
You should check the Number of Shares and the Cost Basis before you enter the transactions and after you enter the transactions. The Cost Basis should remain the same, and the shares should be the amount allocated from Dexus.
