How do I export customer contact details from Quick Books Premier 2007/2008 - but only NEW customers from September 2014 to date? Please help!

Hey Maria, it can be done with a little modification!

Export the whole list as IIF. Once open in Excel you will see the TIMESTAMP in the D cells, this indicates when the customer was added to your books. The numbers inside the cell will look a little strange - that's cause they are in UNIX time.

To convert to a legible time stamp see the formula on this page >>, once you set up the first formula, drag it down along to all your customers. Once converted to regular time/date's sort your list in chronological order and remove anything before 01.09.2014.

Also - make sure you check the export file and what data is imported if importing to another version of Accounts. Different versions may not have the same export specifications
