As I look at installed programs, I cannot find QW PATCH.EXE, and am unable to open QUICKEN 2015.

    Hi, Neil,
I wonder why Quicken wants to find QWPATCH.EXE. Have you tried going straight to QW.exe and running it from there?

Go to "Computer"., click on the C:\ drive, then click on "Program Files (x86), then click on  "Reckon Accounts Personal", scroll down to "qw" and click on it.
This should open your Quicken file.
Hope that all works for you - it does for me so it should be OK.
    Regards,
    Stan

Everything is OK until I  reach Program Files (86). Beyond that I find nothing relating Reckon Accounts Personal .

Do appreciate your efforts to assist

I thought I had replied but something must have fouled up.
When you go into the Program Files (x86) folder do you see all your other programmes that you use?
     Nothing about Reckon or Quicken?
If not, this seems to suggest that Quicken hasn't installed correctly.
Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing Quicken?
Is this the first time you have used any version of Quicken?

I'm only too happy to assist ( if I can!!!!).

I have gone through Program Files (x86) and have found QUICKEN, and open a drop down list that is quite extensive (maybe (50+) items) and most of them are Greek to me, so that tells me the Quicken must be installed ( or was ). My concern is if I (UNISTALL) what should I do to prevent loss of program before attempting RE-INSTALL.. Should I try calling Customer Service, if they have such an animal in Australia

Thanks for your help. I finally decided to uninstall and reinstalled the program from download, and we are back on line sans the recent update of 4/30/2015

    Again Thanks

    Neil
