Error 9 Subscript out of range

I am using QuickBooks Premier: Retail Edition 2011-12
Before I couldn't transfer data between Point of sales and Quickbooks due to some strange characters. I went through and fixes (I am not sure I fixed all or not).
And then I tried to transferred data from Quickbooks to Point of Sales Administrator, they gave new error as the following

Subscript out of range.

Please advise how to fix this.

Joo - did you resolve the "Error 9 Subscript out of range" as I have this problem now when doing a transfer from Qbks 2013 to Pos. Its seems is due to the products and items list as transfer works okay if this is not ticked.

Thought maybe either the item number, description or barcode maybe too long so is there a limit to characters of these fields which might be why has this error before I do the fix Mirko you have suggested
