long service leave

We are using Reckon Accounts 2015 we have just noticed that 3 of our employees (who have long service leave) Long Service Leave is deducting instead of accruing time. Is there a simple answer to this?

It could be the accrual is set up as a negative instead of a plus or you could  have another accrual like A/L or P/L linked to it in error, so that when you pay A/L or P/L it is deducting from LSL.

It would require snapshots or further information like, is it deducting annually or regularly etc.
