Has anyone used Bank Data for Reckon Accounts 2015 to connect to CommBiz from the Commonwealth Bank, or does it not use the CommBiz interface

Thanks for asking the Reckon Community.

The principle method for obtaining a CBA bank feed is through a direct bank feed application.  

Go to bankdata.reckon.com website, create a bankdata account if you do not already have one, and then request your bank accounts to be added to your BankData account.  You'll be asked to fill out a bank authority form and post it to Reckon Bankdata who will process it and forward onto the CBA for approval.  Allow 8 days for this approval process.

You can if you wish connect to most bank accounts through a 3rd party provider called Yodlee Inc.  (when adding your bank account details select the option My financial institution does not appear in the list).  Although you will not need to fill out forms and transactions can be downloaded from as early as the next day, you will be required to enter your bank internet login credentials, and these will be retained by Yodlee Inc to update your transactions each day.

With the CBA, Yodlee Inc can only access the NetBank portal and not CommBiz portal.
