Reckon Accounts Desktop integration to CData

One of our key goals in the Reckon API team is to foster relationships and integrations with global applications as we continue to expand into the UK and US.
I am therefore pleased to announce we recently joined the CData eco-system (see http://www.cdata.com/drivers/reckon/)
CData provide bi-directional access to live Apps, Databases, & Web API's Data through Standard Drivers
Some of the drivers include Google AdWords, MS Project, Exchange & Excel, Netsuite, SugarCRM, PayPal, Dynamics, Salesforce, Facebook, Twitter and many more...
The Reckon to CData integration is currently in beta, so the guys at CData would like applicable Reckon customers to sign up and test the tools.
I would recommend starting on the FREE Excel Add-in: http://www.cdata.com/drivers/reckon/excel/ which pulls RA data straight into Excel, but is accessed from an Excel tab rather than an external application.
The SQL query window also uses MSSQL syntax, so for those who know how to form your own queries it is very simple and powerful.
Indeed, even if you do not know SQL, you can run some really simple code to test the power of the add-in. eg. SELECT * FROM Customers will return the entire customer table from the RA file you have specified. Try additional queries at http://www.w3schools.com/sql/
Let us know what you think.
Regards,
Jason

Will this work with Reckon Account Hosted or Reckon One?0

The guys at CData have reviewed both Hosted and Reckon One and are keen to integrate once they receive enough enquiries, so please email them requesting this as that will go a long way to getting CData integrated into these eco-systems.
