Inventory Item Lists on Reckon One

We are a small engineering business, currently running Reckon Accounts Premier 2015. On my Inventory Item list I can currently alter the measurement on each Item ie. can record per sheet, per each, per metre etc. Can anyone tell me if I am able to have this function on Reckon One? I am looking to switch to cloud software, as I am over paying exorbitant prices for the Desktop software, when it is basically the same product year after year, and I am paying top dollar for one or two changes.

We don't use Reckon One but looking through the info it doesn't look like it supports U/M (units of measure) which is what you want I think. In fact it inventory management is pretty basic. If you went to Reckon Accounts Hosted you definitely get U/M as we use these.

There are a few posts on this topic already on the community however to sum things up... Reckon One has an item list but doesn't have inventory tracking or units of measure. These features will be added to the product as part of the inventory module however no ETA has been provided.

Reckon One want do what you want it to do, it is a basic program, and very limiting in a lot of areas.

As already suggested, Hosted would be the way to go if you want a cloud based program, the annual fee is less than the advantage support for desktop, it includes all updates and can be paid by the month.

Another alternative is to pay for an annual licence to your desktop version.
