Bank balance and balance sheet

Hi All,

I am using Reckon Hosted and hope you could help.

The bank reconciliation was performed correctly with the "Cleared Balance" (before any uncleared transactions) agreeing back to the Paper Bank Statement.

However, the bank balance per balance sheet is somehow different to the "Register Balance" (after all uncleared transactions) of the bank reconciliation.

Is there a way to record a transaction so that I can agree the Balance Sheet balance to the Bank Reconciliation? In my case, the balance sheet balance is incorrect.

Amanda  Look at the print out for the bank rec. Is there a date after the date you were balancing to.

e.g. Statement ending date 31/7/16 but you may have marked an amount dated 2/8/16. If that is the case, correct the entry date and your balance sheet should line up.
