adjusting the number of previous accounts visible.

I have recently added a new company file to my drive (actually sharing a company file from another user. I need to increase the number of previous files opened by 1.

When I go to File >Open Previous Company >Set number of Previous Companies – nothing happens. It won’t let me change the number – there is no response when I click on that option.

How do I fix this?

Actually, I think I just found it by accident. You need to be logged in and have a company file open - any file as far as I can tell, as long as you are logged in as the administrator.
Then, when you go to file > Open previous company > set number of previous companies, the option becomes available.
You cant do it unless you have opened one of your comapny files.

However, that setting doesnt 'stick' I have '5' in the box, but only 4 company files show in the drop down box or the list of company files or the files visible in the Open company dialogue box.

Maybe if you scrolled down using the up and down arrow it would be there.

Hi Michael,

Are you still unable to see more than 4 company files?

I increased the capacity of mine this morning and after a few exits from the Hosted system the company files beyond 4 are still showing for selection both on the No Company Open screen and from Open Previous Company.
