Reckon personal plus 2017 os Windows 10

I receive a box asking me to select New or existing  each time I click the Reckon icon

    Are you running this with full permissions to the installation folder?

    Thanks for you interest,
    Reckon is fully installed with all permissions ,below is the box I get, I have already shortened the file names

    in the meantime I have renamed  a file again and Reckon seems to be  happy to open it . I will  back it up and see what happens, perhaps my renaming skills  were not up to scratch. Once again, thank you.

    Thanks Leif,most helpful, I was using the  rename option in Quicken.
