We have 3 bookkeepers and we need to check the work done by someone on 14 August 2018. We need to see the data entries entered by one employee who may made some mistakes. I can not do this by selecting the invoice date as some of the transactions are not this month. Is this possible in reckon hosted?

Review the Audit Trail report - this will show who entered/edited any transactions - you can choose the report to be for any date, but modified in the last month...Β

Thats right Linda. Now if the username isnt unique it probably wont help. Also I would be very doubtful it would stand up in court0

Hi Charlie
As Linda mentioned, the Audit Trail report is one option.Β I find it easier to create, modify & memorise a summary version which includes the Date, Time & User for each entry:- Click on βEditβ (along top toolbar) > βFind ...β
- On the Advanced tab, click on βEntered/Modifiedβ from the Filters list & enterΒ the date youΒ wantΒ in both the βFromβ & βToβ boxes
- Scroll down the Filters list & click on βDetail Levelβ then select βSummaryβ
- Click on βFindβ then βReportβ
- Click on βModify Reportβ & on the Display tab, select (tick) βEntered/Last Modifiedβ & βLast Modified byβ columns.Β (You can also de-select any columns you donβt need or βcloseβ them on the report itself)
- In the βSort byβ field, select βDateβ from the dropdown
- Ensure your βReport Basisβ is set to βAccrualβ to capture all entries
- On the Header/Footer tab, you can edit (choose your own) meaningful βReport Titleβ
- Click on βOKβ
This report can then be memorised for future use & can also be tweaked for any date range &/or any User.Β Β
