Was emailing payslips and tried to stop the email but now screen is frozen. How can I rectify this?

Was emailing a payslip but then realised multiple payslips were ticked after I hit send. Tried to stop the email but now the screen is frozen and I can't get out of it to move on with other work.. Help!

    Try holding the Alt key down and pressing Page Up - the next email has probably gone behind your screen - but you will need to click Close on each one to stop them sending - :)

    Thanks Linda... I was clicking close on each one to stop them sending and that's when it froze!  I am on a Mac and have tried Fn Arrow Up to try to do the same thing but I am not having any luck! Any other ideas?

    I ended up going back to the Control Panel, logging myself out of the Remote session and logging back in and that seems to have cleared it!
