How should I enter an ATO refund in Reckon Accounts hosted?

This is not a hosted question its an accounting question. Have you spoken to your tax agent or accountant?

Unfortunately they are not available at the moment due to personal reasons, hence the reason for putting up the question in the hopes someone might be able to assist.

Then you should post it to suspense until they return. This is not the place for free accounting advice. It could expose someone to some liability

Hi Jenni, is it a refund of GST?  If so you enter through Manage Tax and receive tax refund.  Let me know if you need any further help.

Hi Glenda, thank you very much for your kind assistance. Yes it is for GST. The information you have provided was perfect, I knew that there would be a tax area somewhere, just needed to know the name of it. I am new to Reckon (was raised on MYOB). I would have asked my accountant but they are currently not available and the boss needed the books reconciled today.
