If you have two different payment days for the end of year. I.E We pay the casuals on a Tuesday and that will be their final payrun and then staff on a Wednesday for the year, do you tick the 'Final Pay Run' box on the very last payment run on the Wednesday or on both of them?

    We have this exact same situation. I ticked "Final Pay Run" for each day's lodgement. But, I don't know if this is correct or not. These files are still listed as "Pending" in the portal, so I don't know if I can phone the ATO to check with them yet either ....

    Did you ever manage to find out about this?

    I phoned the ATO, and it worked when I ticked "Final Pay Run" for both.
