Import items list- Invalid item type

Hi- we have Enterprise Retail Edition and I am trying to import an items list from excel which i originally exported as a Reckon .iif file. When I do I get an error that says "Invalid item type". Any leads to where I can find valid item types?

Hi Colleen,

Easiest, way to find what valid Item Types are would be to:

1) Create a blank new data file
2) Create one of each type of Item in that new file



3) Export the Item List
4) You can then open that export item list file in Excel
5) Now you can look at the INVITEMTYPE column to see what the valid types are
