Cannot untick multi currency. Box is greyed out

Hi there, am having trouble with a client who cannot untick the box for multicurrency as it is greyed out.  They are using Reckon Account Pro and have not been using multicurrency on the file.  Any ideas on how to untick the box?

    Once you turn it on you can't turn it off
