This has been updated/replaced with the “Finalise Year” option which - unlike the old “Final Event” process - will pick up ALL employees paid within the financial year (whether still current/active or not)
It’s no longer necessary to submit a “Final Event” when an employee leaves as this is now done at EOFY as above
What is vital though is that you “Terminate” the employee in RA/RAH in order for the “Release Date” to be auto-entered. If that employee is in the next pay run, that Pay will be automatically marked as “Final” at the ATO end during the STP submission process as a result of this “Release Date”.
If the employee terminated in between pay runs, this finalisation will happen during the EOFY “Finalise Year” process.
