Error in registering software Reckon Personal

having reinstalled Reckon Personal i am prompted to register software to continue after i've entered registration i then get a product activation box asking for my customer ID. i enter this and receive the following error. any ideas?

Hi David,
From the SQL error it appears that your input may have also included a character/s? Customer number should be all numbers no spaces etc.

numbers only entered, no spaces, no dashes same error

Hi David,
I presume also that your PIN contains numbers, no spaces, dashes etc?

If so, perhaps another user may be able to indicate the root cause of the error.
