Re-open a casual employee who left 3 months ago
Hi - We have an employee who worked for us on a casual basis and left about 3 months ago. We have gotten really busy and he is going to come in and cover a few days over the next few weeks, once again as a casual.
I don't believe an official termination procedure was done at the time, as there was no leave that needed to be paid, so I think just a release date was entered under his employee card.
Would I just then delete the 'release' date and un-tick the 'inactive employee' box?
Thanks,
Emily

Hi Emily
You could do that to manually override but I’d recommend doing it via the Employee Organiser as this then prefills the Original Hire Date as well as the New Hire Date in the employee’s record.
Doing it this way will automatically ….
Remove the employee’s previously-entered Release Date
Retain their Original Hire Date
Add a new Hire Date &
Re-activate the employee
