Reckon Job Costing

I am working for a landscaping company and we have been using Job costing as a function of Reckon and using Reckon Payroll to job cost man hours worked on site.

We have found reckon payroll such a clunky system and is unable to calculate the average payrate for Holiday pay etc which we are having to try and manually do.

Is there anyone out there that is using job costing in Reckon whilst using and external payroll system? If yes how do you put the man hours worked on site against each job worked?

We would ideally like to go back to Ace payroll but still be able to capture man hours and were told the only way we could do this is by using the Reckon Payroll function.

But the hours from the timecards are not pushed through to the job costings until the payroll is processed through reckon payroll?

Ace Payroll is huge in NZ been around for many years.

We do Complex job costing WIp app and they use Meridian Part of Sage they have 120 employees
We used Reckon weekly time sheet a nd not use Reckon payroll.
But the catch is they get all the required JC info thru our WIp app
Surely there is a solution as Kevin said
