Is it possible to open 2 different company files on one computer at the same time for multi-tasking? We are using Reckon 2019 Premier & have multi user license.

Hi ITLeap Team
Unfortunately not
This has been on the Wish List for many years & the development team have looked into it multiple times but unfortunately the base coding of the desktop & Hosted programs (which were not designed by Reckon) restricts the ability from a technical aspect to do this:

There was a time a year or two ago that we could open multiple companies. It was fantastic for my clients that a lot of inter-company transactions. Then Reckon realised that we could do this
and stopped it, unfortunately.

Wilma. There are still a couple of tricks one can use to facilitate this, which likely will only apply for a very small number of people or set of circumstances.
For desktop, provided the second company file you want to access does not run payroll, you can run it from the program which is one year behind. I currently do this in one situation where payroll is not applicable and there are two related companies.
?For Hosted?, if one has access to two totally different licences, one can log into Hosted using the separate licences. To explain. I have my own Hosted Licence, but I also run a couple of other shared Hosted company files with separate licences, using those login details. This does give me the ability to view two company files at the same time.
