Backup in upgrade 2020 R2

Backup in upgrade for hosted 2020 R2 is taking all day.
Is anyone else having the same problem.  Any suggestions to fix please.
It seems to be stuck on 99% for the last couple of hours
Case code: 45540G3Z3Q6 was given to me and have to ring back in half hour if in same state

    Yes Vee, our backup for R2 took 10 hours. It was over 90% for many hours.
    We have a very big data file that has been in use for 20 years.
    We just waited it out. 
    Have made a note in the calendar for next year to make sure we update over the weekend.

    Simone, if your file is big and you have verification turn on and if your TLG file was big to start off with then this could take a few hours - its an end of day - overnight job I think... you could always cancel the backup now - get some work done - then set it going before you go home and it should be done when you get back to it in the morning.  What is it they say?  "a watched pot never boils" :)
