First STP 2020/2021 & Finalisation submission

Using Hosted. Upgraded yesterday to be able to process first payroll for 2020/2021. Yet to submit finalisation for 2019/2020 FY. Do or can I submit my first 20/21 STP BEFORE I submit my finalisation? Thanks in advance

Hi Leisha

Yes, you can continue processing pays for the current (2021) FY & finalise 2020 when ready as the options are generated from the "Pay Event" selection.

Just make sure you select the correct Pay Event (eg “Finalise Year”) & then the correct FY (“2019/2020”) when lodging your EOFY STP finalisation.

I also use Reckon Hosted but I have been unable to lodge and upload my "finalised" file for the 19/20 year. STP file successfully writes but when I open Reckon GovConnect, I select "Upload" & "Update a previously completed ATO submission or Finalise Year", I choose the file to upload, select Confirm and nothing happens. Any suggestions on why it is doing this?
