Hi. I have lodged the last payrun for ye 2020 but didn't have it as "finalise year".  I wish to advise the ato that this was the last run.
What is the correct way to proceed please.

Same! And now it won't allow me into "Process Single Touch Payroll' at all.

So, it turns out I was in a different company file, doh! Back in the correct file, I just went to file the last pay run of the year as per normal but selected "Finalisation" from the drop down options. Once connected to the online thingy, select the file and choose the finalisation option and you will see that the figures are all nil. Then hit the GO button! You can look at the details to confirm for peace of mind. Good luck ladies! (And gents!)

The “Finalise” should be a separate (additional) file submission AFTER lodging your last STP pay run for the FY.

Thanks all.  I managed to complete today.  I have to give some credit to the instructions on Reckons website which i hadn't found previously.  This and also your comments gave me confidence to click on a few buttons.  So much to do at this time of year, no matter how well you think you prepare, it is always a bit stressful :)

Alyson could you please point me in the direction of those instructions? I thought I had ticked Finalise Year but it seems I hadn't and need to get it done today!
