If you treated the project as a class, you can record all income and expense relate items of the project as belonging to this class. You can also create budgets for a class

in the menus go Company/Planning & Budgeting/Set Up Budgets
You will get a prompt from there

Perfect Thanks Bruce. So far so good.
The new budget format is based on accounts. IE Payroll, materials etc. However this company tenders and manages $ using their Item list. IE prelims = .100, Project manager = .101. Can I build the budget using items? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Mark

I don't think you can build the budget expressing everything terms of items.
