Sharing Company Files
HI - for the second time in a matter of days we are struggling to share new company files. Have set up the company, but when shared it shows as 'lnk' so will not open for anyone.
We ended up calling the help desk last week as all that was happening was every time we tried to share it came up with a new file ( so we had 8 files of the same company to share)
Help desk did something, but we are faced with the same problem again today! We have never had problems with sharing new company files in the past.

Hi Nicky
When you share a file in Hosted, it creates a new Shared Folder. It’s within this folder that the person it’s been shared with needs to access it.
If you go scroll down the list of files/folders in your Q Drive, you should see a duplicate of your original file name as a folder with an arrow in the bottom left corner. Everyone accessing the file needs to access it within here:
