I have just reinstalled 'Reckon Accounts Personal Plus 2020', entered the key and activated the product.

When I try to open my account file it comes up with this error window and closes which is very frustrating!

Can anyone help with this??

Try running as administrator form the shortcut (right click) on it

I got it working by first creating a bogus new user file, the closed it and opened my main file. Looks like from a clean install you can't just load a data file?

Thanks for the offer of help!

    Hi Gerry.

I'm down in New Zealand so I'm not sure calling you is practical?

I had my data file deep in some sub folders so that may have been the problem? I've since moved it to the root folder which has also solved backing up always failing the first time.
