Higher Education Loan Program - what do I do?

I've received a notification from the ATO (attached) regarding one of our apprentices who appears to have taken out a Trade Support Loan (TSL).

I haven't had to deal with this before and am unsure what to do.

Do I have to tick the "HELP Debt" box within 'Taxes' in their Payroll file? Is there anything else I need to do?

Yes, that’s correct. Just tick the HELP Debt checkbox & the system will calculate any additional tax accordingly. Nothing else required ☺️
