Login Failed - User already logged in

Whenever I have a glitch with my internet & it closes reckon & try to log back in I get an error message saying I am already logged in - it takes about 30 minutes before it lets me back in. The file isnt set as multi user so I cant log in as Admin & fix it as it says someone is logged in. How do I reset it so I can log back in quickly?

    From the control panel before you click 2021 or 2020 version, go to the Control panel and tick Log off remote users, then logon

    When this happens to me, I tick 'Log off remote user' and then the Refresh button to make sure it has logged me off.

    I also wait a couple of minutes before trying to log back in.

    Hi Sue - I didnt hit refresh so will try that next time. It was nearly an hour last night that I had to wait.

    It has also been strongly suggested by Reckon that not only should you log off the remote user, but also logout of the control panel, close the browser and then start again. That tends to fix the problem immediately, in my experience.
