Are you recording leave as hours? In the employee setup I mean

Yes we are recording leave as hours in the setup

@kln213 The leave amounts are always in hours not days, they can’t actually be displayed in days 😊 Is there something in their leave that made you think it refers to days? 🤔

The leave balances (in hours) come from the employee record balance (the “Hours available as of …” field) & continue accruing (in hours) on each Paycheque as per the accrual method you have set in the employee’s record.

NB: The Payslip “template” is just the printable/email-able ‘form’ that can be generated showing the employee’s YTD totals & pay breakdown details. I have always found the default Payslip templates (rather than the one that can be customised) are best to use as they already contain the required detail & are less likely to have issues (eg corruptions or format problems)

Thanks Shaz I searched everywhere in help files, couldn’t find anything, let alone in 15 seconds! I knew mine were in hours and wanted to help but found nowhere to change so as you say it may be the payslip Kelly is using, I too am grateful for your confirmation because Zappy makes some questions even harder to answer

Hi there we had this discussion a while ago. The answer hasn't changed. And Reckon complies with the NES. I dont know why anyone would need days on the payslips. The other systems work the same way

Kelly didn’t want days in the payslip, she thought it was already in days and wanted it to show correctly as hours

Kris you cant express it in days. It doesnt work like that.

I know that, she thought it was in days, I was actually trying to help her, as was Shaz

Thanks Kris and Shaz for all your help, it appears there was a glitch in the customised payslip template I was using which was showing incorrect leave hours which I thought were in days. I have since used the default payslip template and it is showing the correct leave hours.
