HELP Please!
I have just added another company to my Reckon Hosted account. Already I have forgotten the password from yesterday (although I swear I am putting in the one I created...?) I really need to access this company but can't call help till Monday as you would all know. How do I reset the password so I can create a new one?

@MBI If it is any help all Reckon product passwords can be reset using the Reckon portal account. Though I am uncelar if how it applies the passwrd to individual company accounts. I don't use this product.

As far as I know, there is no way to access a Company File if you don't have the password. My understanding is that Reckon do not have access to this information.
If you are certain that you are using the correct password - try some variations of it with Caps Lock On. Its very easy to make errors if that key has been accidentally pushed previously.
If this doesn't work the only possible saving grace might be, that as a new file there are very few entries, and that it may not take too long to re-create from scratch. Fingers crossed for you

The password in the control panel is the username login, nothing to do with opening the company. Did you recently upload the new company from the pc or create it in Hosted.
‘I’m sure you’ve checked but caps lock not on?

Hi All
Thank you all so much for your time and suggestions, I’ve not used this group before, very cool how kind and helpful you all are! So in the other company I use most days my Reckon phone support had told me in the past sometimes I need to go to Control Panel and Log Off Sessions. I did this as a last resort, signed back in and it works. My password was correct the first time - thought I was going mad! Sorry for the delayed response - huge storm here and lost power 😫 Zappy are you a Reckon Hosted expert?…might keep your number, I know there will be more issues! Right now my logo won’t upload in the correct format! Not today though, had about enough for one day! 😐
