Does anyone know if barcode scanning can be added to purchase orders along with total weight & volume of inventory items on PO for freight calculation
I already have the weights & dimensions under each inventory item. Just need it to display on PO & calculate a group total of weight & volume that includes all items under that PO
Already have the data predetermined with every stock items. We import an assortment of items which have predetermined weight & volumetric dimension information

@sailcity How have you entered these components (weights & dimensions)? Are you using specific/customised fields for them or do you just mean you’ve included them in the text descriptions ?
Whilst you can add certain fields & columns to your PO template, there’s only 1 “Qty” (sum-able) column. This would be being used for the Inventory Item itself so couldn’t also be used for other components.
What about barcode scanning on PO
We are a import warehousing & distribution business and need an inventory management & e-commerce system that we would like to integrate with Reckon Accounts Hosted.Â
My understanding is fishbowl is set up to integrate with reckon accounts desktop … not hosted …. & Ostendo is set up more towards manufacturing rather than import & distribution supply chain inventory management
Do you mean I will have to reinvent the wheel & move to a completely different accounting system that can facilitate the requirements?
True …. I have a few required features I need to have & incorporate if possible … others I can work around …. So trying to find something that integrates & fulfills the basic requirements… rest I can find a way around
