Searching for a particular line within an invoice

Is there any way of quickly finding a particular entry within an invoice.
I use the find/search key all the time for a particular word we have used in the description on a line in an invoice. Any invoice that has that word will appear, but when we open the invoice to find it, we have many entries on each invoice and then have to read each line until we can find the word that we are looking for. (It may be a particular town or a particular product) It is nothing for us to have 30 lines on an invoice and it would be lovely if we can find the line we are looking for quickly.
Thank you.

Hi Sandy,
When you find the invoice that has the word, you can save the invoice as a PDF and then use the search function in your PDF viewer app to find the exact line.
If you don't want to do this extra step, I think you will need a custom solution but it might be a bit overkill.

Thank You, however, when we find the line, we may need to amend something and therefore saving it as a PDF wouldn't work.
It would be handy if we could Control/F (as we do in excel) or F1 as I do in another program to take me to the line I require.
Thank you anyway.

I see, so you want to edit the line. If you have to do this a lot, say more than 10 times per day then it might be worth it to look into a custom solution.
Basically, the custom solution can connect to your Reckon Hosted file, you can enter a keyword to look for and it will return a list of matched invoices, then you can have the ability to edit the invoice line(s) that contains the keyword, then hit Save to simply save the invoice back to RAH.
Please let me know if you are interested to learn more about it.

Thank you. Sometimes we edit it, sometimes we just need to find it and read it to compare it to another entry we are making. We rely on the Find Key all the time and it brings up the line, but if we need to know more we then go into the invoice. It is not worth a custom solution, I was just hoping for a quick way within the invoice.
Thank you for your time.
