my tax is now showing a quarter from 01/06/22 instead of 01/07/22

only started this month for the last quarter reporting period.

last bas reporting period was correct april - june

how can this be fixed.

i have rebuilt the file . still showing incorrect

    In Company Info is the first month of the financial year set as July?

    my financial year starts 1/10/22 to 30/09/22

    Oh ok, it should still show the correct quarter then, sorry I have nothing to suggest for now

    Hi DACOS

    It sounds like it's recognising the quarter based on the FY you've set, as it's reflecting your new FY this month.

    The date ranges for FY are specific to Australian standard (eg a Jul-Jun FY) so if you change the FY start date in your company file, the date "ranges" will sync to that too as it can't recognise 2 different FYs at once (eg one for FY & a different one for financial quarters).

    I think you would need to retain the July FY start if you want to utilise the "Australian quarter" date ranges.
