Urgent issue - Reckon Desktop SDK - BeginSession can't find company file
This happened yesterday at a major client site, and must be fixed urgently.
They have Reckon Accounts Desktop Enterprise Wholesale and Manufacturing (2021), and my software sends Invoice and Purchase Orders to it via the Reckon Accounts Desktop API (Intuit).
Last successful calls 5pm 21/12/2022.
Yesterday morning, can't send anything:
E04: Could not start Reckon Accounts to process your request. Please verify the path to the company file included in your request.
HRESULT = -2147220472 (80040408)
This company is open for business every weekday except public holidays and this must be sorted out ASAP.

Hi @Michelle Martin ,
There are a few things that can cause the issue:
- Does your app need the QBW file when it is opened? If yes, can you check and make sure the file is open and there is no other instance of QBW file running?
- Does it connect even though Reckon is not running? Then also check if the file is in multi-user mode and if the QBW file is in a shared location and it is still accessible

Thank you for all your help Phuong! I had trouble getting Reckon Accounts to prompt with the screen to authorise my application to access it, but finally got it to do so. And mid Friday afternoon, it finally worked.
