one more user to input data

Dear ALL,


Would you please advise whether can't one more user to input data in same time? 


If that's yes, why we should buy over one user license in Reckon Accounts Enterprise?

    Dear @Ms Yuen ,

    Reckon Accounts can handle multi-user data inputs through the multi-user setup option.

    There may be some areas (such as the Online Banking Centre or Payroll) that has "exclusive access", but it should not prevent multiple users accessing different areas at the same time.

    Dear Alexander,

    Thank you for your reply & information.

    Can I have two or more users performing the same operation or different operation such as Make General journal entry, enter bill, pay bill, open invoice, create estimate, write cheque, Reconcile, Make deposit, ..... at the same time. We found that some of the operations cannot be performed by two or more users simultaneously.

    Can two or more users perform journal entry at the same time? Thanks.

    Hello @Ms Yuen ,

    You should be able to have two users perform most of the tasks you have listed in Reckon Accounts at the same time without any issue.

    As stated, there are certain areas (such as Payroll, and some Banking functions) that cannot be operated by two people, but it will ask for exclusive use as to not disturb other users in the file.

    You will also need to be in single-user to perform Backups, Verify Data, and Rebuild Data, as these activities require the complete closure of the company file.

    Else, there should be nothing preventing you from having multiple users enter in cheques or invoices or bills.
