NO OF BACK UPS NOT LIMITING IN RECKON 2023 PREMIER

HI COMMUNITY,

SINCE THE UPGRADE, NO MATTER WHICH OPTIONS I CHOOSE IN THE BACK UP WINDOW RECKON IS SIMPLY SAVING A BACK UP AND NOT LIMITING THE NUMBER OF BACK UPS.

ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS, ANY HELP

    Hi Gerry,

    it is not a good thing for us as we back up to a usb chip as well as a 2nd hard drive in case of computer failure or fire etc. Our file is large - over 15 years worth of data. We used to limit it to 3 or 5 but the usb fills up after about 10 back ups and its only when the back up fails due to no space that we notice, time consuming that's all. if its been changed why still have the option in the back up window limiting the number of back ups?

    if its bug then I thought others may have experienced this? Maybe its something Im doing wrong?

    Hi Tilley

    You may just need to reselect this option as a new installation/upgrade can sometimes drop out prior preference selections.

    When making the backup, have you clicked into Options & checked/updated the selection here:

    My file is deleting the old backups, but oddly the box to tick ‘add date and time and delete old backups’ is ticked but greyed out so even if I wanted to I couldn’t untick them
