RE: Saving payroll on Reckon hosted without having to create payment

Is it possible to save payroll information on Reckon Hosted without finalizing the payment immediately? After creating the payment, how can one make amendments later? It would be convenient if we could input payroll data, have it saved for approval by the appropriate personnel, and then return to the saved file to process it accordingly.

Can you provide any advice regarding the above?

    Hi @Jessie ,

You need to create a payment in order to process it. Currently, the option to save payroll information without creating payment is not available. However, even after creating the payment, you can still make amendments to the paycheque. To edit the paycheque, please follow the instructions provided below:

    - Open the paycheque requiring editing.

    - Navigate to paycheque detail.

    - Unlock the pay and make necessary changes.

    - Save the changes.

    - Proceed to the next step once you're back at the paycheque.

If you have any further queries please let me know.

    Kind regards,

    Reeta

Thanks Reeta, but if the amount changes, then there the flow on effects of that is the impact it has on the ABA file.

Hopefully this is something that Reckon will update in the near future. It would save a lot of time if payroll can be saved before creating payments etc.

    Thanks!
