Constant Disconnection


Hi - over past few days Im constantly being logged out or disconnected. And before you ask there is nothing wrong with our internet connection
Why is this happening??

It'll log out or disconnect after about an hour because of inactivity; I think that's now a feature along with MFA
.

Could you please provide more information for us to understand the situation better? Please..
What web browser you are using?
Have you tried using Reckon Hosted with different web browser?
Are you actively using the file?
How often did it logged you out?
Is there any error message?

Okay Charley - it is less than an hour. Today for example - working away bank recs etc blah blah and I go to run a report - waiting waiting - flick back to main page and its logged me out. Log back in - do some invoices, run downstairs to check something, come back within 15-20mins and screen is black and says disconnected due to non use and a whole bunch of numbers. Really!!

Different Web Browser - yes but either spammed on Firefox and Internet Explorer - Reckon was not happy so it was put back to Google
As per above - was actively using the file except for 15-20mins where I had to check some costings
Today - I have been logged out more than usual - since 9am WST Ive been logged out more than 10 times, so much so that now Im doing one portion of my bookkeeping, then exiting programme whilst I go check costs,s times etc and then I come back to do some more and start it up again
Yes there are error messages - same as everyone else is getting or a how bunch of numbers. I seriously hope that I have not lost data I have entered. That will be my last job for today for an hour or maybe more, checking every transaction to make sure it has been entered

Hmm….That seems odd, Usually the session expired once you have left idle for longer that a period of time. however it shouldn't be for only 15-20 mins.
Could you please try this and let me know if it is fixed your issue or not?
On Google, Go to Settings ➡️ Performance ➡️ Check whether Memory Saver is on or off
If its on can you please either switch it off
OR
add Reckon Accounts Hosted to the list of sites to keep active. In particular the one labelledhosted-connectv82.reckon.com
After doing the above, log out of Reckon Accounts Hosted and close the browser in full. Reopen Chrome and use Hosted as you normally would.

Memory Saver is off
I now added Hosted as per above and will try it

If its happens again, Could you please noted the date/time and take a screenshot of the error message as well please? This will help us lot when troubleshooting.

It doesnt happen to me. I refuse to use googol. You can use Edge. Or Brave. Use a private window.
