Changing invoice date in Reckon

Hi there,
Our invoices intergrate from Fish Bowl into Reckon the next day.
I'm wanting to know if I can change the date in Reckon to the correct date on the invoices?

As long as the date you want to change it to is not a finalised BAS quarter on financial year for which you have done the relevant reporting, I can’t see any reason why you can’t change it

Hi @Q_qualchem
If FishBowl integrates directly into the Reckon Accounts Hosted, then the only way to change the date of the transaction would be to view and manually edit it in the Reckon Accounts data file.
If FishBowl creates an export file (IIF) that you upload to the Hosted platform and then you manually import into your data file, then you could potentially open and edit that IIF file in Excel (as a tab-delimited text file, ensuring all columns and values are treated as TEXT) change the dates, save the modified IIF file as a tab-delimited text file, then upload the Hosted platform and import into your data file.

Any reason why you get your invoices next day NOT REAL TIME .
i know FB is USA software managed by here Simon Jupe.
They should integrate real time the same date as here, looks like their servers are in USA .
discuss with them.

I can just change the date here right?

The fact you need to change date of each invoice is defeated , this is not automation . FB can write a script to set the date to your region

No I dont need to change the date of all the invoices.
Sorry to be clear, there are a couple of invoices my customers wanted to be dated for next month. I accidentally shipped their order which meant the date changed to this months date. I'm wanting to know if I can change it back to the correct date in Reckon. My boss thinks that once its gone to Reckon theres nothing we can do
