Share Price updates
I needed to reinstall my Reckon Personal Plus 2022 software today. After reinstalling, I attempted to update my share prices to ASX close of business last night, but the process ("Get Online Quotes") just hangs and does not perform the process. Prior to reinstalling today, this process worked fine.

Do a validate and super validate and then call me if that doesnt work.

Hi Gerry
Tried the 'Validate" option which worked successfully. Cannot find a 'Super Validate" option.
Then tried to 'Get Online Quotes" and it produces the normal "One Step Update Status" dialogue box but 'hangs' at the 'filing' part of the process.
Also, tried calling your phone number per above and get the response - 'the number you have called is not available from this mobile service'.

This is the dialogue box where the process hangs. To me, it would suggest that Reckon has retrieved the share prices from the ASX but has encountered a problem when trying to update the appropriate file(s) in Reckon.

Hi Gerry
I'm somewhat reluctant to send my file to Reckon, as you know. This file contains details of all my financial transactions for the last 20+ years. And to give it over to others without some legally enforceable assurance of its security and privacy, bothers me.
This file has been both 'validated' and 'super validated', with no errors being found.
Also, I can't recall exactly the steps you took a couple of days ago in our 'Teams' hookup, where you were able to get the price update process to work, but I thought it had something to do with re-registration of my product against my account details.
Is it worth uninstalling & reinstalling the software using a new product key from Reckon and re-registering against my account?

Uninstalling the software won't help as i feel the issue is with your data file and i personal trust Reckon totally.
