Reports Don't Function Properly

Whenever I run reports (Personal Plus) they don't seem to function properly. When I click on the category to see the transactions that generated the figure it nearly always returns "can't find any transactions". This has been the case over a couple of different computers running different versions of Windows over the years so I was thinking that it is a software glitch that will eventually be fixed but I have now installed V31 and still have the problem. The scroll wheel also acts weird in reports and while reconcilling (no matter which way I scroll the wheel the report only goes up).

Are these software glitches or do I have a setting somewhere that I may have missed?

    Dear @Dougall ,

    I have a few questions to try narrow-down the problem:

    1. Where is Personal Plus v31 installed to? Was it to the default location, or was this to a location not on the C:\ drive?
    2. Where is your company file located? Is it in Documents\Quicken\, or another location?
    3. Have you made sure to uninstall all previous versions of Personal Plus?
    4. Have you tried running the program as Administrator?

    The symptoms don't indicate it is a Reckon problem if you want to give me a call I will log in and have a look how you're set up and how it's working and why it's not working the way it should.

    Hi @Dougall

    Have you also performed a 'Validate' and 'Super Validate' on your file?

    Thanks all for the replies. I will try the suggestions and see what happens.

    Yes, it is installed in the default location but the file is in a separate folder on the same hard drive although the original file was transfered from "Microsoft Money" quite some years ago.

    You need to open the sample file and run the reports and see what happens
