It would be super great to be able to search all transactions (regardless of the type of transaction) in a global search (kinda like Xero has!), searching by transaction amount, transaction date or by supplier. The current solution to finding these is more clunky than it should be!
I definitely hope this gets integrated into Reckon One, similar to how our older product Reckon Accounts allows you to find transactions easily.
What I believe that we did really well in Reckon Accounts was that we were able to find literally ANYTHING with the functionality that we had in the software. So I was wondering if we could possibly add a section under the contacts center section similar to it or a global search area to find transactions within Reckon One:
If we could possibly have a global search function also added like the above suggested, it would cause huge improvements for finding transactions within Reckon One.

It would be helpful if you could make a search function that works this way. I love the software but this is what is really lacking for our business to be able to find invoices (including past ones) for certain addresses .
A search option would be very handy, particularly if it can find a specific transaction within an invoice or bill
Yes, transaction search is sorely needed. I could be mistaken but wasn't there one in Reckon one already at some stage?
Yes please a search bar on the top of invoices to be able to type in clients names/ invoice number to go directly to that invoie to change/edit etc. Also the page panel also at the top on invoices so you don't have to scroll to the bottom to move pages.

It would be awesome if you could search transactions/creditor invoices etc (by the reference not the bill number) at this time there is no search function
I find it very hard to work without being able to search easily for an Item by Description, Price, Reference, I am using the funnel which helps but I do think a better search would be helpful.
I am really missing the "Find" button from Accounts Hosted. You could click on it, choose the amount/name/number/etc =/larger/smaller than and type in what you are looking for, eg = $747.34 and it would find every transaction that = $747.34 regardless if it was an invoice, payment, paycheque, cash sale etc. Or would find all transactions for one customer, or transactions between certain dates. This was incredibly handy if you accidentally put the wrong date/name on something. In Reckon one you have to go to each section and search - very time consuming.
Search function in both contacts and invoices should include ability to seach by name.

Its still in the early stages, so I don’t have specific timelines to share just yet, but I’ll keep this idea updated as things progress and as we get closer to release.

Would be very grateful for this function.
I often need to go back and find old bills and/or when they were paid. As is, it can be a fiddly drawn out process setting up a filter and then a lot of opening & closing transactions across various screens to find what I'm looking for. A global search function enabling a search on Supplier name or invoice number or amount would be much easier.
Very much looking forward to this and good to hear it's being worked on.
