Viewing Payslips - The ability to seamlessly click through to next Employee to View!!

When viewing payslips in pdf format. It would be a great time saver and less clunky to be able to click through to the next employee. So you don't have to close each pdf payslip individually to reopen and view the next payslip. You can seamlessly view & check all payslips in pdf format for the pay run just performed by just clicking through to next employee all while still in pdf mode!!!

Thanks for raising this idea @adminch, I think some enhancements in the area of viewing or accessing multiple payslips would be very useful. I've added a vote to your idea.

While it doesn't directly address your request, a potential workround could be to open all the payslips you'd like to view first and then you can just cycle through the tabs. I've put together a quick little screen recording below but granted, it could get a little cumbersome with a large list of employees/payslips.

    Hi Rav,

I can see above how this would work with small numbers, but beyond 35 employees not so much. Hopefully something will come through with this update soon. :)

@Rav the process you've highlighted is what I do currently but yes as @adminch has mentioned, it's not as easy once you go past a handful of employees to select

Thank you both the feedback and I completely agree, if you're opening and viewing a large number of employees the process can involve quite a few clicks and back & forth.

I'd encourage Community members to add their votes along with any other details or feedback in relation this idea.

Loving that this is now an option. It will be a time saver.

Is there any logic to how the payslips are sorted when they are created as a bulk file? I've tried for the first time and the employees seem to be sorted randomly which is making it harder to do double checks.

Not sorted chronologically by employee number, not alphabetically by first name and not alphabetically by surname.

Not quite sure about that one yet @Tina, but I'll see what I can find out. Will come back to you.

Fantastic! A very welcome update thanks for implementing the change. An improvement on this would be the ability to sort the payslips as suggested in Tina's post.

    Hi folks

Just jumping back on for a quick update to let you know our product team have opened a ticket to add in an improvement to this new process, specifically to sort payslips by employee display name that generate within the single PDF.

In terms of timeframes, the devs won't be able to start work on this until next week but all going well you should see it come through in early December but I'll come back with another update once we're closer to release.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Cheers!
